Brook of Hope Home
Our Mission is to help transform the lives of vulnerable children in Zambia, Africa. This is accomplished by providing these children free of charge, nutritious meals, any needed medical attention, clean clothing and school uniforms, school supplies, tuition fees and at minimum schooling towards the successful completion of a grade-12 education. For those children demonstrating academic excellence and a desire to continue their education at the university level, scholarships will be provided
We Are A Christian Ministry
Brook of Hope Home Canada is an incorporated registered Canadian Christian charity organization. We are in partnership with Brook of Hope Zambia, Africa helping to transform the lives of vulnerable children.
With a heart to help the abandoned and orphaned street kids in Zambia, Africa We believe that with God’s help,our programs will transform these precious lives.
By breaking the prevailing poverty mindset, our efforts will have a positive, multi-generational benefit. Like a brook feeding into a river that eventually flows into the ocean, our loving Christ-Centered efforts will continue to grow and grow.
Short and long-term visions
Aligning with our purpose, we have the following short-term vision:
Establish a Christian Center aimed at eliminating the existing poverty mindset through education and skills training.
Limited enrolment. NOT an “orphanage model”
Locally managed by Christian Zambian adults with a heart to help homeless, orphaned, and vulnerable children.
This is accomplished by renting a compound dwelling in a safe neighborhood, attending school and church and regular program attendance at Brook of Hope
Home.
They will learn entrepreneur skills including poultry management, agriculture and carpentry and retail skills.
Longer term vision: Owning land and buildings avoiding rental costs.
Start with a single location, expanding as God blesses us to other locations in Zambia. Eventually becoming self-sustaining.
