As we enter this beautiful Christmas season, our hearts are full of gratitude, joy, and awe at what God has done through your support. This month of November marks a special milestone for us, two years since Brook of Hope Home officially launched in November 2023. What a journey it has been, and what a blessing to walk it with you!
As our team reflects on this anniversary, we are pleased to share a special message from our Brook of Hope Home Zambia Program Manager, Peter Musentekwa, whose passionate dedication and daily service continue to shape the lives of all the incredible children and youth that we support.
A Message of Gratitude from Peter Musentekwa
Happy New Month, family! November holds a special place in our hearts because it marks the month we launched this ministry back in November 2023. We are absolutely thrilled to have you join us on this incredible journey of transforming lives!
As we reflect on the past year, we are constantly reminded of God’s faithfulness and enduring presence in our midst.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you for all you do. Your support is not just a gesture; it is the lifeline of this ministry. Every single like, comment, share, prayer, and act of generosity has been an answered prayer. You have been the hands and feet of Christ, helping us reach farther than we ever imagined.
“Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.” — Proverbs 11:25
Our prayer for you today is:
- For your Hands: May God bless the work of your hands and multiply all you pour into this ministry and your own families.
- For your Heart: May you be filled with the joy of the Lord and the peace that comes from knowing you are a blessing to others.

Christmas: A Season of Hope
As Christmas approaches, we are reminded that hope arrived in the form of a Child who came to bring light to the world for all people. This same amazing hope is what you help bring to the children and youth of Brook of Hope Home every single day.
Your continued generosity has made it possible for us to:
- Provide meals and educational support
- Offer mentorship, tutoring, and spiritual guidance
- Help youth learn and develop practical skills for their future
- Create a safe, consistent place where they feel seen, valued, and loved

Year End Giving
There is Still Time to Give & Receive a 2025 Tax Receipt
As we prepare to close the year, we kindly remind our donors that it’s not too late to make a year-end gift. If you wish to top up your giving for 2025, all donations made before December 31 will be eligible for your 2025 Canadian tax receipt. Remember, the first $200 of donations claimed on your tax return receive the lower donation tax credit rate so if your donations for the year so far are under that amount now’s a great time to get the most of the tax benefits before 2026.
The best ways to give are through:
- CanadaHelps: All donations are securely processed and tax receipts are sent immediately by email. All you need is a credit card.
Or
- E-Transfer Sent to brookofhopehome@gmail.com : tax receipts will be sent before the end of the year by email from a team member.
Large or small, every year-end donation strengthens the foundation of our programs and allows us to begin 2026 with confidence and compassion.
Something Special is Coming in January…
We are excited to share that in January, we will be launching a brand-new way for our supporters to connect more personally with our students!
We can’t reveal everything just yet…but we promise it will bring all of our supporters closer to the lives you are impacting, through more stories, more updates, and more relationship building. Stay tuned because your heart is going to love this.
